WMLL players range in age from 5 to 14 years old, from the T-ball to Juniors divisions.
Spring Season Divisions
WMLL offers 7 divisions of play based on League Age, determined by your player’s age as of August 31st of the current year - see the Little League age calculator here:

Player placement into divisions, in particular for AA, AAA and Majors, is done in accordance with the WMLL Bylaws at the discretion of the Player Agent in consultation with Division Commissioners.
T-ball (Little League Ages 5-6)
For all 5 year-olds and first-year 6 year-olds. T-ball introduces young players to team play and the rules of baseball. We try to arrange teams by schools and consider player requests to play with friends. T-ball includes one practice (usually at a RSVD school or local field) and one game per week. (Please note that many 4 year-olds will be league-age 5 and eligible to play T-ball.)
Entering Farm (Little League Ages 6-7)
For 6 year-olds with one year of T-ball and 7 year-olds who would prefer to focus on more basic baseball fundamentals in a coach pitch environment. We try to arrange teams by schools and consider player requests to play with friends. Entering Farm includes one practice (usually at a RSVD school or local field) and two games per week.
Returning Farm (Little League Ages 7-8)
For most 7 year-olds with experience, and 8-year-olds who would prefer another season of coach pitch. We try to arrange teams by schools and consider player requests to play with friends. Returning Farm includes one practice (usually at a RSVD school or local field) and two games per week. If you believe your 8-year-old would benefit from playing the next division up (Minors AA), please be sure to attend the Minors assessment day in January.
Minors AA (Little League Ages 8-10)
Minors AA - Little League Ages 8-10. For skilled 8 year-olds, most 9 year-olds, and some 10-year-olds who would benefit from additional instruction. Players are drafted by managers and coaches to teams based on assessment and player evaluations from prior season(s). Little League Baseball rules are in effect. Pitching is by opposing team players using a regulation, Little League-approved hardball, with some coach-pitch intervention to keep games moving. Team standings are recorded and a playoff at the end of the season determines the champion. Please note that 8 year-olds wishing to be considered for AA must attend assessments.
Minors AAA (Little League Ages 9-11)
For skilled 9 year-olds, most 10 year-olds, and some 11 year-olds who would benefit from additional instruction before Majors. Players are drafted by managers and coaches to teams based on assessment and player evaluations from prior season(s). Little League Baseball rules are in effect including standings and playoffs. Pitching is by opposing team players using a regulation, Little League-approved hardball. Standings, championships, and All-Star tournament play are part of the program.
Majors (Little League Ages 10-12)
The showcase division for Little League, Majors is primarily for league age 11 and 12 year-olds (and highly skilled 10-year-olds with approval, please refer to WMLL bylaws). Final placement in the division is based on player assessment. Players are drafted by managers and coaches to teams based on assessment and player evaluations from prior season(s). Little League Baseball rules are in effect. Standings, championships, and All-Star tournament play are part of the program, with the possibility of advancing to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.
Juniors (Little League Ages 13-14)
Juniors introduces a full-sized diamond, lead offs, balks and more. A regulation Senior League-approved hardball is used. League-age 15 year-olds who are still in 8th grade are also eligible for Juniors. Players are drafted by managers and coaches to teams based on assessment and player evaluations from prior season(s). All games and practices are held at Lefty Gomez field.
Fall Season Divisions
Farm
For 6, 7 and 8 year old players who have had at least one season of baseball in any league, at any level, and plan to play entering or returning Farm in the following spring. Scrimmages are among the WMLL teams; there is no travel to non-WMLL fields.
Entering Minors
For 8 and 9 year old players who played Farm or Minors AA and plan to play Minors AA in the following spring.
Returning Minors
For 9 and 10 year old players who played AA or AAA last season and anticipate playing in AAA in the upcoming spring season.
Entering Majors
For 10 year-olds and 11 year olds who played AAA last season and intend to play Majors in the spring,
Returning Majors
For players who have played a season of Majors and will be returning to the Majors division in the upcoming spring season
Juniors
For 13 and 14 year old players who will be playing at the Juniors level in the upcoming spring season
